Here's the rule: if the TENS digits match and the UNITS digits add up to 10, you can solve the whole multiplication in your head — no calculator, no long multiplication, no stress.

📐 The trick: 1️⃣ Take the tens digit and multiply it by itself + 1 2️⃣ Multiply the two units digits together 3️⃣ Stick the answers together — that's your final number!

Example: 82 × 88 → tens digit is 8, units are 2 and 8 (2+8=10 ✅) 8 × 9 = 72, and 2 × 8 = 16 → answer = 7216
